		<description>The sporters are nice enough mate, but if you ever find a USR courier external get one.  These are the original classic externals that drive the packets like a fine car from bygone years.  For noisy crappy lines with lots of noise the courier cannot be beat.

		<description>This is why I keep a small pile of modems in a tub and a real POTS line to the house.  You never know when you&#039;ll need them.  I do tend to have a modem on one of my Linux boxes because I still do so much out-of-band router management.</description>
