I noticed you did not think much of the Photoshop HDR feature. Which version of Photoshop did you check out? I noticed the Adobe website thinks quite highly of the HDR feature in the CS4 version, but you would expect that. I have yet to shoot a series of photos and try it out myself.

Hi Dave,

I'd love to report bugs but I'm running release 1.0.0, the version that is in the Ubuntu repository. I don't think they'd be interested in that.

I installed 1.1.13 trying to solve a problem with NewsBinPro. That broke everything! Agent, which had been solid as a rock, wouldn't even start. NewsBinPro would start but zombie in about 15 second. It took me the better part of the afternoon to sterilize my drive of .13 and get back to .0. I won't be "stepping off the Ubuntu reservation" again any time soon.

There doesn't seem to be a reported bug on Irfanview installation - if you can duplicate the problem with the latest Wine, it'd be well worth reporting, as installer bugs are considered just as reportable as application bugs. (Installers are often more problematic than the actual apps!)
